As part of my role at Philips Design, I collaborated closely with the Interventional Application Cluster (IAC) team to support the creation of the SmartCT application for the Azurion system. This innovative feature enables clinicians to acquire and visualize 3D images directly from X-ray during procedures, enhancing precision and workflow efficiency. My contribution focused on shaping the user experience and ensuring the interface supported intuitive interaction in high-pressure clinical environments.
The video and the screens' pictures included here showcases particular features and workflows where I played a key role in shaping the User Experience and UI design, collaborating closely with clinical specialists and development teams to ensure the solutions were both intuitive and clinically relevant.
The SmartCT application is a tool that makes it easy for doctors to take 3D images during medical procedures. It's designed to be simple to use, even for doctors who may not have a lot of experience with 3D imaging.
Once the 3D images are taken, they appear on the Touch Screen Module right away, and the doctor can use the same screen to view and measure the images in 3D.
